Community Home Supervisor-Residential Services

$1,500 Training Bonus

Peaceful Living is seeking a Community Home Supervisor to provide leadership and create belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a beautiful new community living home. The Community Home Supervisor oversees daily operations, provides support and supervision for Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and ensures the health, safety, and well-being of residents in compliance with 6400 and 6600 regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the assigned community home (including, but not limited to scheduling employees, menu planning, grocery shopping, team meetings, resident care and support, etc.)
  • Lead, supervise, and support Direct Support Professionals working in the assigned home, assist with the total care of individuals living in the home
  • Comply with the policies and procedures of Peaceful Living as well as the requirements set forth by the Department of Human Services and the Department of Health
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to communicate medical, social, and behavioral needs of individuals served, in a timely fashion; maintain professional communication and exhibit professional behavior with families, guardians, care team members, advocates, colleagues, and all other stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations, Director of Residential Services, and/or Assistant Director of Residential Services

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma/GED
  • Have and maintain a valid (state of residence) driver's license and driving approval from Peaceful Living
  • Successfully pass and maintain all criminal background checks
  • Attend and acquire certification as a Practicum Observer in the DPW Medication Administration Course within one year of start date in position
